Malika joined Agostini Insurance Brokers Ltd. in October 2019, bringing with her a unique blend of expertise from both the insurance and legal fields. With over five years of experience in the insurance industry and an equal amount of time practicing law, Malika possesses a deep understanding of the complexities at the intersection of these two critical sectors.

Malika holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, where she specialized in Business Law, Tort Law, Contract Law, and Public International Law. She further honed her legal expertise by obtaining her Legal Education Certificate (LEC) from the Hugh Wooding Law School, with a focus on Commercial and Corporate Law. In 2014, Malika was called to the bar of Trinidad and Tobago, earning the esteemed title of Attorney-at-Law.

In addition to her legal qualifications, Malika has attained her Certificate in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and continues to expand her knowledge through ongoing studies with the institution. Her dual expertise in law and insurance makes her an invaluable asset to our team.

Malika’s areas of expertise include policy contract interpretation, public liability, workmen’s compensation/employer’s liability, and managing claims related to motor vehicular accidents, including those involving injuries or fatalities. Her ability to navigate the intricate details of both legal and insurance matters ensures that our clients receive precise, informed, and effective solutions.
