Joseph joined Agostini Insurance Brokers Ltd. in 2021 as a Team Leader and quickly demonstrated his expertise in information technology, leading to his recent appointment as Acting Head of IT. As of July 1st, 2022, Joseph has taken on the role of Data Analytics Manager, where he leverages his strong analytical background to drive data-driven decision-making within the company.

With 9 years of experience in the insurance industry, Joseph has gained valuable insights through his work at several leading insurance companies in Trinidad. His academic credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics (Honors) from the University of Waterloo, Canada, where he majored in Actuarial Science and Statistics and minored in Economics. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Statistics (with distinction) from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine campus.

Joseph’s deep understanding of mathematics, statistics, and economics, combined with his hands-on experience in the insurance sector, enables him to effectively manage and analyze complex data sets. His work as Data Analytics Manager is instrumental in enhancing AIB’s ability to harness data for strategic insights, optimizing operations, and delivering superior service to clients.
